DESCRIPTION:Join us on Monday\, September 11th at Green Hills Country Club where teams of PGA Professionals and Amateur golfers play a 36-hole scramble for birdies! to raise money for the Northern California Section PGA Golf Foundation/PGA HOPE and Tuesday’s Children.  \n\nTuesday’s Children was formed in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of Tuesday\, September 11\, 2001.  They provide a lifetime of healing for families forever changed by terrorism\, military conflict or mass violence.\nPGA HOPE Northern California\, Helping Our Patriots Everywhere. Taught by PGA Professionals\, PGA HOPE is a free introductory golf program for Military Veterans and Active Duty service members to help them improve their physical\, emotional\, social and mental health.\n\nThe Opening Ceremony will be a patriotic tribute to the victims lost on 9/11\, to their families\, and to our military service members who have served our country protecting its freedoms. Registration 9:00AM\, Ceremony 10:00\, Shotgun start 10:30AM. \nTeams can be 2\, 3 or 4 players.  Staff will input all Teams into the Birdies4Hope webpage. To register use the click here link and provide the names & email for all players on your team and a Team Name (i.e. Birdie Hunters) – CLICK HERE  \nThere is no cost to register\, players are asked to set a goal to raise at least $1\,000. That’s ten friends pledging $100 for two worthy causes. All Pledges are 100% tax deductible! \nHow does the fundraising work? Players email the “Birdies4Hope” link to their network of friends & colleagues asking for financial pledge per birdie or a flat donation.  Teams will track the # of birdies shot.  Pledges are automatically processed and receipts sent to donors. Donations go far with one under par!
